This PREMATURE artwork is the 105th Augmented Klecksography Painting.
It was born from a color splash onto black cardboard and then blind-shaped by my hands following the instinct. The connection with the matter led to the materialization of this creature coming from the unconscious and crystallized in time through photography.
Now it lives in a unique motion-state in the Blockchain, perpetually reiterating its beauty before your eyes.

Premature 105

In 2019 I took part in a 4-months artist residency program in Berlin.
When I received the confirmation email of the selection, I was full of joy since I was going to face a brand new experience for me in the art field. Indeed it was my first, and at the moment the last, artistic residency I participate in and, looking at their facility and past residents, the premises were really good. As in many life cases, the reality is way different than a website full of fancy images and inspiring words, but the day I started that program I never imagined what life was foreseeing to me.
This is not the place to dig further into what was revealed as a coven of snakes, but what I want to highlight here is the energy I put into that experience which made me grow a lot. 

From February to May of that year, I produced 44 new PREMATURE artworks intending to create a three-dimensional effect while staying in the two-dimension realm. I dig into my creative process as never before, doing such things that are expected in a residency program, in one word: EXPERIMENT!

The residency had to culminate with a solo exhibition of mine at their gallery, scheduled amid the end of May and the beginning of June.
During those strange first days of May, while running around the city in search of materials, frames, and other organizational stuff, I ended up in the studio and I was alone. I suddenly felt the need to create a bunch of new artworks, even if I already had all the pieces for the big event.
I put the A4-size black cardboard in front of me and, with one stroke, I threw the paint onto it as I always do. Well, Premature 105 and 106 rose from two different splashes of paint on two different cardboards, one after the other. 
It has been like “good at first take”. It was as they were auto-generated from all the feelings I went through the past 4 months.

What you see on Mint Gold Dust is the result of an intense period of strength, emotional and physical pain (I felt so bad in that situation that I had such a backache that barely allowed me to walk for 2 months during that period), but all of this made me stronger and cleaver than before.
This is the reason why these two artworks are on this platform. They represent the visual materialization of a period that was crucial for my growth as a creative human being and a person,
and each of them comes from a single stroke of paint!
I guess this is the power of energy conveying in the matter to express inner feelings,
but I'll dig further into my creative process in another memoir.

Sometimes I think life is a big scam, and you have to find a way to hack it back, but when you succeed, you can set yourself free of past experiences and evolve.
