Bio

David Stout is a visual and sonic artist, performer and film maker exploring the synthesis of new forms across the arts. He is recognized for works in live cinema, electro-acoustic music and intermedia performances integrating immersive projection as an extension of performer, audience, and architecture. He is cofounder of NoiseFold, an interactive media ensemble whose animated installations, sound works, and performances have been presented worldwide. His audio-visual projects probe the aesthetic possibilities of transcoding systems, artificial life networks and generative virtual environments.
