Sometimes interacting with nature makes you feel like you're on acid. okloren wanted to talk to a whale, so she and I paddled across the bay. just at the mouth of the ocean, to a small island. In Alaska. We rode against the tide, fighting to move forward against the force of the water. When we arrived at the island, we were drained and but charged with this crazy energy.
