Description

The sunflower has been Ukraine's national flower for a long time, but it has quickly become a worldwide symbol of solidarity for the country and its people since the Russian invasion began. Like many of my paintings this started from something completely different. I traced back my work to learn it started from a graffiti style heart painting that I was manipulating in 3D. I took screen shots from various angles with various colour changed and finally discovered a sunflower. I had been working on this months ago and put it aside, but recently came across it and was called to create this piece. This painting is emitting positive energy, love and light to the people in the Ukraine and all who are affected by the devastation that is taking place. May this painting radiate love and peace to help heal all.
