“Painted in 2018 in the Austin Texas studio, Facing the Ether’s creation was inspired by the always evolving and peaking Ethereum charts at the time. It celebrates our expansion and connection with all of the dimensions that are alive when creating new solutions for a solarpunk future. Envisioning, dreaming, crafting, experimenting, trading, seeing it diversify and gather utility, and even more interesting to me, gather community, scramble and challenge definitions of value, and create opportunities for art expression. Zooming into detail we can see abstracted numbers and encrypted messages of positivity in channeled light language.” This digital version is a one of a kind unique of the original physical piece, currently housed in Nanu’s private collection.
